First Dance Recital

Annabelle has been taking Creative Movement, a beginning dance class.  I was surprised when she came home knowing 1st position, 2nd, etc.  I have never taken a dance class in my life, so I actually don't know if she's doing them right...she's so cute doing it though, it doesn't really matter.  She just had her first recital and they did a dance to A - You're Adorable by John Lithgow.  Each little girl had a big alphabet block with a letter.  They were supposed to march around and duck down behind their block and then hop out when their letter was called in the song.  Annabelle had the "A" block but didn't get behind her block until about D or E.  We could see her little legs wiggling with excitement, she peeked up a couple times and the she suddenly popped out at J... it was perfect!  She really knew the dance and she did fantastic.  We enjoyed watching her so much.
